Cookie Policy

Last updated24 July 2026

This policy explains the cookies Artifically sets, why they are set, and how you can control them. The list below is the complete list of what we set today, not an illustrative sample.

1What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. Cookies can remember a preference, keep you signed in, or follow you between sites. Similar technologies such as local storage and session storage work the same way for the purposes of this policy, and we treat them the same.

2Cookies on this site

The Artifically marketing site sets one cookie.

  • NEXT_LOCALE — records whether you are reading the site in English or Arabic. It is set by our internationalisation layer, scoped to this site, with SameSite=Lax. It is set only when the language shown to you differs from the one your browser asked for, so that your choice survives to your next visit.

That cookie holds nothing but a language code. It carries no identifier, it is not used to measure or profile you, and it is not shared with anyone.

The marketing site sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no cross-site tracking cookies. We do not embed third-party analytics, advertising, or social-media scripts on it.

3Cookies in the dashboard

If you sign in to the Artifically dashboard, our authentication provider, Clerk, sets cookies that keep you signed in and protect the session. These are strictly necessary: without them there is no way to hold a signed-in session, and the dashboard cannot work.

Those cookies are set by Clerk on our instruction and are described in Clerk's own cookie documentation. We add no analytics or advertising cookies to the dashboard.

5Managing cookies

You can delete cookies already stored and block future ones in your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Site settings.

Blocking the language cookie is harmless — the site falls back to the language your browser asks for. Blocking the dashboard's authentication cookies will stop you signing in.

6Changes to this policy

If we begin setting a cookie that is not listed on this page, we will add it here and update the date at the top before it goes live. Where the new cookie needs consent, we will ask for it first.
